The 2007-2008 Top 10 Best Hotels In China And Hong Kong List

Think of travelling to China for business or leisure this holiday season? Don't know which hotels to stay in for an overall combination of great price, location, cleanness and service? Look no more, here is the list of top ten (10) hotels in China (out of 546 top hotels) this Christmas for four different cities:

Hong Kong

Langham Place Hotel Hong Kong, 4.5 stars

Peninsula Hong Kong, 5 stars

The hotel features a Roman-themed spa, sundeck with harbor views, and six restaurants, including French haute cuisine in Gaddi's. Designer shops are located off the lobby. High-ceilinged, European-style rooms feature subtle Asian accents, DVD, fax, complimentary high-speed Internet access, and bedside control of curtains, TV, air conditioning, and lighting.


Island Shangri-La Hotel, 5 stars

Lijiang

Zen Garden Hotel, Unrated

The hotel has live traditional Naxi and Chinese music on Monday and Thursday mornings, demonstrations of Chinese painting and drawing, in the teahouse, by the owner’s brother, as well as tours and excursions to all the popular sites, such as: Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri la, Yulong Mountain and Lugu lake. The Zen Garden Hotel Lijiang offers 16 rooms including 14 standard rooms and 2 deluxe rooms. Furniture in the teahouse and guest rooms is from the Ming or Qing styles. In the courtyard and upstairs rooms, one can see the whole city.
