The emergence of China as an economic superpower

For years I have observed that girls are, in average, doing much better in school than boys. Girls are not only better at sitting in the rows and care more about turning in homework, but also, they are consistently getting better grades than boys. Some high school boys even complain: “college is for girls, not for boys.”

Indeed, there are more and more women getting college degrees than men, and women are filling most new jobs in many countries. Economists say, females are now the most important power in the global economy.

A famous Blog commentator Anne wrote: “there was a tricolored heron in Central Park for what may be the only time in a century. Oh, for a picture. Probably a woman heron, since women are taking over the world, the world, I say :)”
