Why is China worried about single ones? Is it their psychic or just the fact that they want more children?

Brenda - According to the Chinese agrarian tradition in the past, people get married between 16-18 years old, usually not older than 20. Since China entered into the modern society, this tradition has been changing. Nowadays marital age are usually between 20 and 30. If one hasn't got married after 30, the society around him/her will worried and try to find a match for him/her.
I believe the government organized the dating party to create chance for those singles to meet.
