The Japanese and Koreans have their own strategy for world dominance.
1. They build a giant base in their domestic market where they can test their products and perfect their product.
2. Then - head overseas with a first rate product.
3. Beat the pants off the competition
Haier is taking that approach.
With their huge market of consumers in China they have tons of experience and feedback to perfect their products. Now they are trying to infiltrate the US market.
Not only are they bringing their mini-fridges - they are number one in sales in the US, Haier is also a market leader in home wine coolers and number 3 in freezers.
In order to shake off the image that China only does cheap - Haier is making a line of eco-friendly, tech-rich appliances as well - one example a Genesis Washing machine. My little baby Haier can fit into this puppy.
Haier has 50,000 workers in 46 factories, one of which is in South Carolina.
Haier churns out 43 million products!
Yep, Haier has the base and the experience and the factories and the ability to do it more cheaply and, who knows, even better.
Haier will surely climb higher.
What do you think?
go to 老毕看中国

At least Asian market has a busniss to hire people who can support their family. I welcome any business that create a job, but as long as it is legal.
