China's Top Ten Knock-Offs

A knock-off, of course, is a fake version of the real thing. And, I am guilty, too.

I once bought a couple of pirated DVDs (not quite the same) in hopes of having something to watch on a 16 hour plane ride.

One worked but the other one didn't. I suppose I had it coming to me.

Everybody who shops in China knows where they can buy knock-offs that can be prett doggone hard to tell from the real thing.

Don't know? Try outside the US embassy or one of their consulates.

So what are the top ten knock-offs in China?

Here are # 10 - 8

10.  Fendi Handbags - Orginally made in Italy for $500-2000! Get 'em here for under a $100 and as cheap as $20.

 9.  Boss Clothes and Perfume - Orginally made in Germany for $60-500, but in China for $2-$40.

 8.  Polo ,Clothes, Suitcases and Sunglasses - Originally from the US for $60-600 but outside the embassy for $2-40.

Here is # 7

7.  Hermes Handbag - Orginally made in France for $300-6300! (What!) Get 'em in China here for $20-$120. hermes.jpg

And people pay ungodly sums for this handbag because of what?

6.  Gucci Gucci Sunglasses, Belts and Handbags - Orginally made in Italy for $500-4000!, but in China for $10-$150.

Thes look sharp, but I'm not paying $500 for them and I hope my wife doesn't either.

5.  Prada Handbags - Originally from Italy for $400 - $3350 (okay, someone tell me why they are so expensive, seriously) but outside the embassy for $20-100.

Doesn't look like a several thousand dollar handbag to me.

4.  Chanel Handbags, Sunglasses and Perfume - Orginally made in France for $60-4000! Get 'em in China for under a $100 and as cheap as $20.

For that price, you'd better smell awful good, no?

3.  Burberry Clothes, handbags and Purses - Orginally made in the US for $100-3000, but in China for $3-$125.

I reckon this is the prettiest one I have seen yet...but not $2000 pretty!

Here is # 2

2.  North Face sportswear and backpacks- Orginally made in USA for $200-900! But in China you can get them for $10-100.

But, then we all know, don't we, that you get what you pay for?

North Face does good work...but maybe that's the guy in me.

Here is #  1

1.  Louis Vuitton Louis Vuitton Handbags and Suitcases - Originally from France for $2300-Infintie!! What in the world makes these things so, um, priceless? Please someone tell me.

And tell me one last time, why would anyone pay so much for something that is so ugly?

Have you ever bought a knock-off in China?

But then we all know that we get what we pay for, eh?

I find Chinese people talented on making fake stuff.
How did you come across to my blog?
what do you do?(sorry for these meaningless questions~~)

i think that it is ridiculous to pay several thousand for a handbag, or hundreds for a pair of sunglasses. it is a waste of money. who cares? the people that you would impress with this crap are the people who's opinions you should be the least concerned about. buy a knock off and you can still afford to eat all month.

My vote would be the "super shuffle". It's an iPod clone, and the most blatant rip-off I've ever seen in my life. http://www.mp3newswire.net/stories/5002/supershuffle.html
