The Committee of 100 Commissioned a survey to discover what Americans think about China. More information about this group can be found at the link at the end of this post.
The survey asked Congressional leaders several questions to get their opinions - right or wrong.
We understand that if our Congressmen and Congresswomen think these things, well, then that is what we are supposed to be thinking, right?
Yea, I know it should be the other way around. Congress should be representing us, but for some reason, these potlickers get it in their mind what they think and then convince themselves that people in their states/districts think the same thing. That's a different subject.
Here is a question asked the congressional staff by the Committee of 100 survey team.
China is currently the second-largest holder of US Treasury bonds after Japan.
The central banks of Japan and China hold more than $1 trillion of US treasury bonds as foreign currency reserves.
Do you agree that the Chinese government owns too many US government bonds?
Two thirds agreed - China owns too much of America.
One fifth disagree - figuring China won't come collecting none too soon.
Thirteen percent of the Congressional Staff responded with "What's a US treasury bond? And can I get one?"
Does China own too much of the US?
What do you think?
