China Netcom Group is home based in Hong Kong. And, China Netcom is the top provider of fixed lines phones in 10 Chinese provinces.
Like anywhere, there is a growing demand for broadband DSL high speed internet. Dial-up is out, even in China.
The online gamers are also demanding more bandwidth as well.
Unless someone in the wireless industry has a plan for all of China to jump right over the DSL step, it is entirely likely companies like China Netcom will see substantial growth, no?
If it were me, and it's not, because I sure don't have the capital. I'd bet on whoever is setting up the wireless networks. They are surelygoing to make a bundle.
