Four groups in America were polled about their impressions of China -
1. General Public
2. Opinion Leaders
3. Congressional Staff
4. Business Leaders
One question they were asked is
How do you view China's emergence as a military power - as a serious threat to the US, a potential threat, no threat, or is China an ally to the US?
Two to three times as many Congressional Staff (36%) members think that China is a
serious threa to the US compared to the General Public (15%), Opinion Leaders (12%)
and Business leaders (16%).
But all four groups overwhelmingly think China is a potential or serious threat to the US.
Congressional Staff - 91%...Isn't that everyone? I mean the other 9% are on vacation.
Business leaders - 87%...they just hope to make their money before the war starts.
Opinion leaders - 79%
General Public - 66%...
Whether China is or is not a military threat to the US there are a whole lot of people,
emphasis on a WHOLE LOT of people who think they are are might be.
What do you think?

The numbers from the poll are interesting to say the least. I still feel as if China has one fundamental problem that it can never solve, and that is the fact that communism is inferior to capitalism when it comes to government styles. Yes China has 2 billion people and yes they spend a lot on the military, but if you don't win the heart of the people, you don't have a chance.
